Volunteering

Our 2000 Volunteers of Community Service Unit in Ajman University serve senior citizens, low-income citizens, orphans and special needs in Ajman community and other Emirates. Volunteers can participate in 12 community service program, ranging from youth education to adult education to emergency assistance for low-income families. While CSU’s programs mostly depend on a semester or year-long commitment from Ajman students, there are also some one-time opportunities available for faculty, staff and community members to volunteer with us. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, Community Service is able to serve more than 2000 people each year.

Community

CSU engagement programs like field visits, workshops, sponsorships for local events and community initiatives are a great context for students to build community with other civic-minded students. On the other hand, it could also provide an opportunity for employment as in the job shadow day program which was indicated by our students that one or more of the relationships they formed during their Community engagement experience continued to be important to them and in some cases, throughout their entire University careers. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form, also located in the right-hand column of this page.
